To enhance communication with investors, Tortoise Capital Advisors today announced that it will begin holding quarterly conference calls for its closed-end fund investors. The calls will provide an update on the energy value chain, the firm‘s investment outlook and closed-end fund performance.

We want to increase the frequency of conference call conversations we‘re having with our investors from semi-annual to quarterly in order to provide more timely updates on the ever-changing energy sector and how it impacts our closed-end fund investment strategies, said Brad Adams, managing director at Tortoise and CFO of the closed-end funds.

The first conference call is slated for April 29, 2015. As a result, the firm‘s May 18, 2015 closed-end fund annual meeting will be shortened to a business meeting only focused specifically on voting matters.
