LEAWOOD, Kan. – Dec. 04, 2008 – Tortoise Energy Infrastructure Corp. (NYSE: TYG) today announced that it has redeemed $40 million of its $150 million of Series E Senior Notes. The company redeemed the notes utilizing cash on hand and its bank line of credit.
Following the redemption, the company has approximately $190 million in senior debt, including its bank line of credit, and $70 million in auction rate preferred shares outstanding.
